Job Summary:
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and
technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business users and development
teams, to understand business processes, gather requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of IT
solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document
business requirements. Work closely with project managers and development teams to ensure a
clear understanding of the project scope.
2. Process Mapping: Document and analyze current business processes. Create process maps and
flowcharts to visualize and communicate business workflows.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Assist in
defining data requirements for reporting and analytics.
4. Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation, including functional specifications,
use cases, and user stories. Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Communication: Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure that requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
6. Testing Support: Assistin the development and execution of test plans. Collaborate with QA teams
to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. 7. Problem Solving: Identify and address potential issues or challenges in the requirements and
propose effective solutions.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
related to business analysis and IT.
